Hello friends,

I sit in the very warm internet cafe in Malindi town, thank the Lord for ceiling
fans. With a little hurry and hesitancy, I left Lango Baya village this morning for
the last time this trip. Said goodbye yesterday and today to dear friends and
co-workers in the mission. What wonderful village people we have here to work
with. It warms my heart to see them work hard to help their people as we walk
beside them with our helping hand. God is building up some strong workers here in
his vineyard. Praise the Lord for their commitment and dedication.

We have accomplished almost everything on my somewhat long "to do" list this trip,
so God has smoothed the way and given us the energy and guidance we were hoping
for. And thank you for your prayers during this mission trip. I
started out a little "iffy" in regard to personal timing and prudence of spending
this much time in Kenya. But once I arrived and started working, it became clear
that we are doing what needs to be done, and we must continue to trust the Lord to
cover us with his unending care and grace. From this morning's Psalm: "Your
precepts are my delight, they are my counselor." And in yesterday's evening
prayer, there was something about the certainty of God's work and victory. I was
reassured that my short sighted vision is not the vision I need to rely on, but to
just rest in the knowledge that God is our protector and provider, and he is
already victorious and covering us with his grace. Holy is his name!

I planted a couple of banana seedings late Sunday afternoon that I brought from
Nairobi as a test project. The sun was getting low and the billowy clouds were
everywhere. The light was soft and gray, and yellow, and white all around
the clouds. The birds were singing and the red earth was damp and pliable in my
hands. And now the little seedlings stand proud and tall, ready to grow up and
become adults and bear much fruit. It was a nice end to a
Sabbath day in Kenya.

Mud "Boggsing" in Kenya

Greetings from Lango Baya Mission,

I pray you are all well and that God is unfolding a beautiful spring season for you.

We are well in Lango Baya. Still hot and sticky, but the work is going smoothly,
thanks to your prayers. Please continue to lift us up to our loving Lord.

We have completed two major accomplishments:
1. We traveled through the villages for two days meeting with many of the local
people who are engaged in small business, i.e. basket making, bicycle repair,
tailoring, small roadside markets, fruit growing, etc. This survey gives us a good
sense of the level of business knowledge and competence of the participants. So, we
find that most of them don't keep any written records and therefore are not sure if
they make a profit or not. For this project we are working with Ajema Kikuyu and
Ngumba Kagu from Nairobi. I think I mentioned them to you. Now we can write up a
"model" for doing small business development. Today we met with two Sisters and a
third man in the Diocese office and they are interested in partnering with us in
launching a small business start up project.
2. Saturday, we spent the day driving out to the farms of those who had been trained
in Farming God's Way to see their progress. It is both encouraging and frustrating.
Some are doing well and most are in need of ongoing follow-up training, so we spent
a lot of time "reteaching" what was taught at the initial trainings. It takes time
for them to move to the higher standard of cultivating that we are pushing them
toward. But with this growing season we should see some good results from what they
have implemented. In time we are confident the increased yields will attract more
farmers.

(Forgive me if I repeat myself a little. Memory is not my strong point.)

This week I will be registering orphans in the two villages that we have not yet
registered, Girimacha and Malanga. Pray that we can find them all and that the
families are home when we come to see them. We will meet with the Village
Coordinators this week who oversee our orphan program to refine and adjust where it
may be necessary and to understand how they are doing in their duties. They each
have agreed to get a plot of land and show the children how to grow maize using
Farming God's Way methods. This will be a great project for the orphan children.
They can sell their corn and raise some money for their group. Teaching the young
people more about self-sufficiency is one of our goals.

I still need to get aroung to visit more of the orphan caregivers and children who
have already been registered. I will try to do more of that this week. The days are
getting full and I only have one week left. We are delivering the letters that you
have sent to your orphans as we visit the villages. They are very happy to receive
them, and your gifts also. And on Wednesday evening we will meet with the local
Rotary Club to discuss our six village water project.

I sit in the shade on the patio outside the internet cafe writing this note to you,
as the clatter of tuk-tuks (three wheel Piaggio taxis) moves incesantly up and down
the street. Poorly maintained cars and buses belch smoke into the air and people
walk and ride bikes eveywhere. It is warm and humid but there is a nice breeze
blowing swaying the big trees overhead and providing a break from the heat of the
day. It is fun to be in Malindi for short periods, I can get a snack of yogurt here
which we don't keep in the frig "at home". I think I would die without an occasional
yogurt fix. Driving back out to Lango Baya in the evening at sunset moves one into
the quiet, slow pace of the rural setting that I love. Fr. Pedro has some chickens
and roosters, so I am up by 6 AM and into my prayer time. The day unfolds, sometimes
with the typical "African surprises" of changed plans and missed appointments, or
appointments one didn't expect. But we are accomplishing
most of what God has laid on our hearts to do. So, praise his name, all is well in
Kenya.

Attached photos: Children love to smile and laugh, even though they may be hungry.
And you'll see where I got the truck stuck in the mud on the way to Mkondoni Village
after a big rain storm. Da, you'd think I'd know how to drive on these back roads by
now. :-)

Kenya update with Doug

Hello friends of Lango Baya Mission, Kenya,

All is well, and very busy. Just completed a three day village "Survey" with two
experienced small enterprise development specialists from Nairobi. We met with many
women and a few men who are now running some type of small business enterprise in
their village. We assess the economic status in the villages and the level of
knowledge and expertise of the business owners. Then try to identify ways to help
them be more successful and help others start small businesses that are appropriate
to the available resources. All this will take several months to several years to
bear fruit, as we start with simple training and move on to help them expand their
businesses if they are successful. We have identified several issues and
opportunities that we can use to leverage the few
resources that the village families have to begin some income generating
enterprises. This is exciting new ground, and the local Diocese of Malindi has an
office that is responsible for Gender Awareness training and business development
that we are meeting with this afternoon, Friday. We may partner with them if they
like what we are doing.

Next, week I start to register new orphan families in the two villages that have not
yet been registered. This is a moving and rewarding experience to visit their hut
homes and talk to them about their life and take the pictures of the orphans.

The rains have come, sorely needed, praise God, and we pray that they continue, as
this area has been in a semi-drought for many years. The people run out of food
between rain seasons because their harvest is so poor. Our Farming God's Way
initiative is helping them to grow their maize so that they get a better yield. It
is starting to make a
difference.

I have included a picture of the food distribution to orphan caregiver families in
Viriko Village, and one picture of a chat I had with some of the orphans from
Sosoboa Village, and a one of the kids I'm talking to. As you can imagine, it is a
life changing experience to get close to these people who live SUCH a different life
than we live. It is hard to imagine how different it is until you come and see it
for yourself. So, I hope more of you will consider coming and having this life
changing experience.

I am staying healthy and well. Thanks for your prayers. All plans are running
smoothly so far, except for when I got Fr. Pedros 4 wheel drive truck stuck in the
mud on the way to Mkondoni Village for Mass. We were only an hour late. They
waited for us. :-)

Doug Boggs still in Kenya

Greetings from Kenya,

It is Sunday evening as I write these notes. It is dark but I can hear the wind
blowing in the big trees outside my open window. Thankful for the wind and for
ceiling fans as the heat and humidity keep me perpetually sweating. I have been in
the town of Malindi for four days doing research on availability of markets for
vegetables and fruits that may be able to be grown in the villages. I am finding the
local market vendors open and receptive to buying produce from the local village
farmers.

By chance, thank you God, I have met a couple of people who have worked in
agriculture in rural areas and have received some good advice. I am anxious to head
out to the villages on Monday and start to renew friendships and see how the farmers
have done with the Farming God's Way
methods that we have been
introducing. We pray that once a few families have good yields with these methods
that its use will spread thoughout the villages and have a permanent impact on
reducing hunger in this region.

Attended Mass this Palm Sunday morning at St Anthony Cathedral in Malindi. The
Bishop presided after a long 1/2 hour palm procession from the center of town out to
the Cathedral. And of course was treated to wonderful, vibrant African music and
singing at Mass. I will be bringing some of this music home, so you'll be able to
hear it for yourselves. It is such a joy to see God at work all over the globe,
redeeming and bringing people into his kingdom.

I have attached pictures of the produce market in Malindi and of the typical street
vendor. Life is sooooo much different here than what we experience in the U.S., it
is just hard to imagine how different it is until you come and see it first hand.
This fruit stand is owned by Samson with whom I have had
some good chats. He is the one sitting down writing his contact information into my
notebook. He is interested in buying veges and fruit from local growers. Progress
on these local distribution markets is good, now we just need to see what we can do
in the villages in regards to production.

Fr Pedro has asked me to speak on Tuesday and Wednesday to the church gatherings for
"Easter preparation" this week about what we teach and do during Holy Week and
Easter in the U.S. Please pray that God will give me what he wants me to say.

And please pray for safety and freedom from sickness, and that this work that we are
doing in our Sister Churches here in Lango Baya Mission will bear much fruit for his
kingdom.

Sending on Monday afternoon, and then heading out to the villages tonight. So, won't
be near internet for a week.

from Kenya,

Praise God
for a smooth trip. I am now in Nairobi until Wednesday meeting with Ajema and
Ngumba Kago. They are experienced in rural village development and have many
gifts in discerning what will help the people become more self
sufficient. So, we are making plans to work together in Lango Baya
Mission.

After I get
to Malindi and out to Lango Baya, we will begin to register more orphans and
meet with the church and village leaders to discuss the progress with Farming
God’s Way. A second round of training took place just last week, so I will
be visiting the village farmers who were trained and encouraging them to move
forward with their new knowledge about field cultivation and planting for the
coming rains, which are now starting. This is one of our most important
self-sufficiency programs.

Today I
visited two local small enterprise projects: one for raising rabbits for meat
which looks very promising for our sister villages in Lango Baya, and one of
Farming God’s Way at the International Kenya Conservation League where they are
showing very high yields of corn even in the past few low rain months. I
took pictures of their six foot high corn fields and will be showing this to
our village families in Lango Baya to encourage and motivate them to fully
adopt the program.

The
countryside on the outskirts of Nairobi is beautiful. A sharp contrast to
the crowded city within. I will be visiting the Kibera Slum on Wednesday
morning, one of the biggest and worst slums in the world here in
Nairobi. A “shocking” taste of how some people are living due
to lack of opportunity and structures that would support a just
distribution of resources. I’ll include some pictures of it in my next
email (if I still have my camera).

In this
email I’ve attached two pics of the beautiful CDG Airport in Paris, beautiful
architecture (a long tiring layover spot). And a picture of my view out
the “backyard” where I am staying at the catholic “Resurrection Garden’s
Retreat Center” on the outskirts of Nairobi. That’s a pond and small
waterfall off in the distance. Comfortable and only $25 per night. Some
of you should consider Kenya for your next vacation outing. We are going
in late August if you might be interested. So, give it some thought.
Also, I have attached a picture of the Farming Gods Way garden we visited
showing the corn grew two feet over my head even in a low rain season.
Evidence that this method works well. Finally, a picture of the rabbit
farm we visited that can provide starter breeding stock for us if we decide
that this is a viable enterprise opportunity for the Lango Baya Mission
families.

Append:
Today, Tuesday, I have just visited an aloe vera farm which we also think may
be a good choice for the Lango Baya area. I now am on the way to see a
banana farm to research that possibility as well. God is opening many new
connections for us through Ajema and Ngumba here in Nairobi. Praise him
for his provision.

Alicia Meyers speaks

Alicia Meyers appeared on Total Victory Today TV in March of '08 and her testimony was eye-opening! A young, division I volleyball player and coach who made some bad choices and now is dealing with the consequences.

Alicia speaks from her heart about the accident and is not afraid to talk about any of the details. The accident caused by her decision to drink and drive led to a fatality which has greatly affected many lives. "I know God kept me alive for a reason and I just hope by Him strengthening me to speak to groups of teenagers, or whoever, that I can help someone really think about what they may be about to do and that there is a choice," states Alicia.

SteveO home doing well

Yikes - where has the time gone?

Lots of crazy stuff happening in the world of Total Victory Today Ministries, God is good!!

SteveO has been back home since before Christmas and has been doing well. He has been sick with a cold for a couple of weeks recently but is doing better. He is scheduled to see his doctor about results from a recent MRI so be in prayer about that. We should hear on Tuesday.

God bless you guys and hopefully I will be consistent in communicating with you all again!

SteveO back in the hospital

Okay, I know, I know...., it has been 22 days since the last update. I could do the excuse thing but it doesn't really matter, what does matter is that SteveO is back in the hospital.

For those who are just tuning in - SteveO is a very strong Christian man and one of my dearest friends! He was diagnosed with a brain tumor approx. 15 years ago. Surgery took most of it out but left him paralyzed on the right side of his body and the remants of the tumor continued to spur seizures that are debilitating and painful. SteveO has lived a productive and Christ-centered life in all of this then the seizures became more painful and plentiful and the doctors found the cancer had returned to his brain. There were some treatments and during the time SteveO was back at home he fell and fractured his hip. A steel rod and some nuts and bolts went into his right hip and then an infection happened but finally home again. Just a few days after that he began experiencing major pain...., and it must have been major cause SteveO can handle pain, so his wife had to call for the paramedics and at the hospital they discovered blood clots in his right shoulder area. There are many reasons these clots could have developed but the point is they are painful and with SteveO's brain tumor the procedures to eliminate them could be life threatening.

So you have been brought up to speed. SteveO has had lots of visitors and his family is close but I would ask that whoever the Lord sends to read this that you would stop RIGHT NOW and pray for SteveO and ask the Lord to remove his pain and heal him. I would also ask that you would pray for SteveO's ministry which God has placed him in which is shining His light in the hospital.

I see and/or speak to him everyday and also speak to the nurses, doctors, and other hospital workers that interact with SteveO and ALL of them - even those that don't profess any faith in any thing - love SteveO. Nurses that aren't assigned to him stop by to visit with him, those that check blood pressure peek in to say "Hi," workers who help keep things tidy chat with SteveO and even doctors stick around to visit. They all tell me, "there is something special about that guy."

It is Jesus!

SteveO never is quiet about Jesus - "He's my Rock," he'll say. He will ask anyone what they believe in, what they have faith in and "if you were in my position would you pray?" He gives me a report on who knows Jesus and who I need to speak with and/or pray for and when I ask him how he knows, SteveO smiles and says, "I ask them...., what do I have to lose? And, I want them to know all they can gain!"

As of about 5pm yesterday, SteveO is still in lots of pain. He has gone through another "roto-rooter" type procedure for the blood clots and we have to sit tight and see if it was successful - which could be withing the next couple of weeks. In the meantime they are trying to keep him comfortable.

God's timing is always perfect, He loves SteveO more than anyone on this earth can love him, He is The Way, The Truth and The Life and we do have Total Victory in Him!

Come on and stand on the Rock with SteveO and get that total victory Today!

We all have a chance to receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior..., as our Redeemer, as our Friend. He died so our sins too would die, He rose so that He would be the filter that God sees us through. His blood for our sins, His grace for our salvation, His love did, does and will do this for us, His creation. Do we deserve it? Does it cost us anything? Can we figure out why He would do this for us? Just like the questions we have when things don't go the way we want or think they should, we can't figure it out. He is God. We are not. If we understood all His ways and knew exactly what He was going to do and knew He would do exactly as we wanted then we would be God and that IS NOT OR EVER WILL BE THE CASE! He is God and we are either for Him or against Him. Try being for Him because you don't have anything to lose and everthing, including eternity, to gain!

Acts 13:36-48 (New International Version)

"For when David had served God's purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his fathers and his body decayed. But the one whom God raised from the dead did not see decay.

"Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses. Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you:

As Paul and Barnabas were leaving the synagogue, the people invited them to speak further about these things on the next Sabbath. When the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who talked with them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.

On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord. When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and talked abusively against what Paul was saying.

Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: "We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
" 'I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'"

When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.

SteveO is home!!!!!

SteveO was in the hospital a long time BUT today he is home. Please continue to pray as his body is battling an infection where he had the hip surgery. He is still experiencing seizures but they seem to be a little less intense and shorter in duration...Thank You Lord!

SteveO called me and said that this section of Scripture is what the Lord put on his heart. We need to be ready to bring people to Jesus at anytime because sometimes the Lord has used somebody else to plant and grow the seed of faith and then He may allow us to harvest! We also need to glean the fact that faith is not about seeing a miracle done right in front of us like a magic trick...., just look around and I promise you will see miracles!

John 4:36-48 (New International Version)

Even now the reaper draws his wages, even now he harvests the crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. Thus the saying 'One sows and another reaps' is true. I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor."

Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman's testimony, "He told me everything I ever did." So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. And because of his words many more became believers.
They said to the woman, "We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world."

After the two days he left for Galilee. (Now Jesus himself had pointed out that a prophet has no honor in his own country.) When he arrived in Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him. They had seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, for they also had been there.
Once more he visited Cana in Galilee, where he had turned the water into wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son lay sick at Capernaum. When this man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was close to death.

"Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders," Jesus told him, "you will never believe."

Amaze people

SteveO amazes people. This guy had a brain tumor removed 15 years ago, he is paralyzed on the right side of his body, he lost his business, he has a wife and son who he loves and wants to take care of, he finds out the cancer in his brain is back, he has painful and sometimes long lasting seizures, he fell and broke his hip, he began having chest pains and is currently in the hospital BUT he is the first one to tell you about all the blessings he has including serving the Lord in ministry while going through all of the aforementioned things BECAUSE, as SteveO says, "I know who my Rock is!"__

Don't ever be afraid to tell people how much Jesus has done for you...., people will be amazed!_.__

Mark 5:18-20 (New International Version)___" As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. Jesus did not let him, but said, "Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you." So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed."

Pain is not wasted

SteveO is still in the hospital so pray on! God feels our pain, "In all their distress He too was distressed." He doesn't waste our pain and we need to know that He loves us more than anyone can or could and that if we call out to Him and know Jesus then we can rest in knowing that "In His love and mercy He redeemed them (us)." __

That is total victory - praise Him!!__

SteveO has evil bugging him while in the hospital. Evil tries to make SteveO feel defeated and unworthy BUT SteveO knows Jesus, he knows where to find strength, he knows that he has total victory in Jesus and NOTHING can take that away so SteveO, like us, can say "Away from me satan," and through the power of the name above all names we know we have victory!

Thank you Jesus!! __

We all have a tendency to think that Jesus had it made. He was God and could do anything He pleased. He took on our sins, He modeled the life we should follow, He showed us what to do in all situations, He died for our sins, He defeated death for us and gave us a fool-proof owners manual to learn and experience all of Him. __

Where's your trust? When SteveO has a new nurse, doctor, emt, orderly, custodian, physical therapist or another patient sharing a room he asks them, "What faith are you?" If they say they follow Jesus he affirms and encourages them, if they say they don't have a faith or if they don't know Jesus he asks them, "If you were in a life of death situation where would you turn to get through it....., what or who do you trust...., what or who is your hope? "

I love the sound of SteveO's voice on the other end of the phone because even when things are rough he always asks about me and my family..., and it is not just a polite thing because if I don't give him details he will start asking specifics about each family member so he really listens, cares and prays! SteveO came out of the hip surgery and while recovering he developed chest pains that are very painful. He told me that he had some blogs he wanted to pass along from his time with the Lord. Despite the pain, uncertainty about his prognosis and financial strains at home this guy knows who is Rock is.......Pray on!!___

SteveO's Surgery Update

This morning around 8:30AM Pastor Jerome and myself got to visit with and pray with SteveO before his hip surgery. Pastor Jerome felt led to remind SteveO of the words from Psalm 125. Wow, God was certainly in the house as we reminded SteveO how his trust in the Lord through the brain tumor, the seizures, the reoccurance of the cancer in the brain, the paralyze right side of his body and now the broken hip has made him like Mount Zion...., unshakable in his faith and a great example of the Lord's promises!!

"Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be shaken but endures forever."

Now late in the afternoon and SteveO is out of surgery and is doing well. Please pray for his seizures to subside, the pain to cease, the healing to be swift and complete and for SteveO's energy as he continues to knock 'em alive for Jesus in and around the hospital!!!

I just got back from the hospital where SteveO is waiting for the doctor to explain the damage that occured to his hip when he fell yesterday. We know SteveO's hip is fractured and it is on the right side of his body, (the side that is paralyzed). SteveO is still experiencing seizures and with his hip injury the pain is nearly unbearable. I witnessed my friend writhe from the seizure and I was asking the Lord to take away the extreme pain I could see he was in...., praise Him because He did..., thank You Lord!

I, only a few seconds ago, received a call and the update is that SteveO will go into surgery tomorrow morning to repair his hip. So please be in prayer for SteveO and if you don't know the story of SteveO, please go into the archives of this blog, I think June, and you will get a glimpse of the story of this man of faith!

Pray on and know that with Jesus we have total victory!!

SteveO has not been feeling very strong as of late and when he is down he always turns to Psalms. When you read the 12 verse please lift SteveO up in prayer. We have total victory in Christ and the knowledge of that has to put joy in our hearts and NOTHING can take that away!

When SteveO called me to give me his blog for today and he gave me the Scripture that God led him to I was excited to see the exact words as I tend to be a paraphrasing person. As always, God revealed that His word is alive and vital to all of us today. A reminder that He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. We will all wear out. SteveO, I know, feels this...., lives this, much more than most of us do. I often wonder what the world would be like, what all of our relationships would be like if we realized that we could "wear out" at any moment...., in other words, live like Jesus is coming back any minute. Scripture tells us that's how we should live...., so why don't we.

SteveO visited a doctor that looked at the implant he has that is supposed reduce and/or eliminate seizures. With the cancer returning the implant, which had been working fairly well, has not been very effective. Nothing major was decided but more information needs to be gathered, i.e. more tests - MRI, etc. Please continue to pray for SteveO and his family - The Great News is that God loves them way more than we can think or imagine and He is their Rock!

From the Lord to SteveO in his quiet time we get Revelation 22:17

The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

We can all have that water of life. That free gift comes to us through Jesus. Take it, be happy, thank Him and then get to know Him!!

Please keep praying for SteveO. As you may know, (check archives), SteveO is a very close friend of mine who's cancer in his brain returned after 14 years. I had asked SteveO to share his quiet times with the Lord as the blog for Total Victory Ministries prior to his recent battle. Through his stay in the hospital, through his tests, through his diagnosis, through his paralysis SteveO has not missed giving me a call to share his quiet times with the Lord.

SteveO is still experiencing several painful seizures almost daily. He has a small business that is suffering because he is in pain and his paralysis seems to have gotten worse. He is concerned for his wife and son and taking care of the house, etc. All the things most of us deal with but with the ugly twist of brain cancer.

SteveO has told me that when he is feeling overwhelmed and down he turns to the Psalms and God reveals that He is big enough to hear our true hearts, our real aches, pains, frustrations, disappointments and concerns AND He is big enough to not judge but truly listen. He wants us to turn to Him and if we focus on Him, I mean really focus then by the end of our list of tough stuff we realize that our list has turned into praise to Him for all of the love that He has for us. That no matter the twist and turn we are in, He is there. No matter how unfair something may seem or unjust, He is there. If we focus on Him, I mean really focus we will know He is love and love never fails!

Save yourself and others

In our world today you can be just about anywhere and see headlines about sex, you can watch nearly any television show and see and/or hear something about sex, you can tune in to most radio stations and they will be talking about or referencing something about sex, log on to the web and you will see and/or be directed to something about sex. Satan loves to use the tool of sex to tempt, capture, divide, conquer and kill God's creation.

Total Victory Today is ours in Jesus.

Here's the real deal. If you understand who Jesus is and say you are a follower of His then you had better know His word to us about sex. But, remember He created it. A gift from God for 2 people that He brings together as one is marriage and the wedding gift is that physical union. That gift should not be trivialized, it should be revered because if we know Jesus, His Holy Spirit is in us guiding and directing through this life and to paradise after....., probably shouldn't grafitti the temple if you want the owner to know that you love Him.

Fridays."

witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen.

It is now Monday, July 9 and here is SteveO's blog from his quiet time with the Lord. This is God's word to SteveO to all of us...., it should rock our personal world and the entire world! If we start living and behaving the way we talk there would be a very noticeable, worldwide, difference.

If we are scared to share what a love relationship with Jesus is and how He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and how we do, indeed, have total victory in Him then we are being deceived by evil. God's word is true and He never lies so it is clear that we have been given a spirit of power, self discipline and love so let's go out and knock em' ALIVE for Jesus! 2 Timothy 1:7-11

7For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

8So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, 9who has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. What's it cost?

We need to learn to receive the eternal encouragement and good hope and know that Jesus is there to strengthen us in every good deed and word. SteveO is always encouraging and when you stop and think about it..., we should all be that way. What does encouragement cost us to give? That would be NOTHING! It costs us nothing to give and those receiving are blessed. Let's follow the example of Jesus and encourage any and everyone around us!!

Endurance and Encouragement

SteveO was back in church with us for the first time in a long while. He actually had a seizure during the beginning of the service and I got a front row seat at seeing the arms, legs, hands and love of Jesus when two of my best friends (a happily married, awesome couple) laid hands on SteveO and prayed over him with others around them praying too. Then as the seizure subsided, coincidentally (don't think so) the pastor acknowledged that SteveO was back and asked him to say a few words. SteveO said that despite all of the illness and its twists and turns he is leaning on The Rock, Jesus! Wow, what a servant, please pray on for SteveO!!

SteveO is a vital member of our church which is going through some "refining" and in his quiet time with the Lord he was reminded of
Romans 15:5-6

5May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, 6so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God gives endurance and encouragement and anything other than that is Not from Him but the enemy. DO NOT let evil trick you into anything less than Total Victory in Jesus!

Got hunger or thirst?

Have you ever had that feeling of "What in the world am I really here for?" We go to work, school or play and we fulfill a need to earn income, learn or to have fun and relax, but something is always missing. Kind of like still wanting a little something more after dinner cause you are still hungry. Or after downing a can of soda you need some water cause your thirst is still there.

SteveO was reminded that it is Jesus who feeds us everything. He is our Provider, He is our Purpose, He is our Sustainer, He is our Maker, He is our Redeemer, He is our Friend, He is our Hope, He is our Savior, He is EVERYTHING. If we truly are in a love relationship with Jesus then we know Him to be all that He says..., we can trust Him and we can rejoice in the total victory we have in Him!

The Bible is God-breathed, the Word is alive and no one can prove it wrong....BECAUSE it is the Truth. Check it out for your self, SteveO did and does and here's what he was told today....

John 6:35

"I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty."

He alone is THE ROCK!

If you recall SteveO shared with us that when he is down, he turns to the psalms. If evil is trying to decieve you into thinking that you are not worthy and you need to be shaking in your boots about what is going to happen next then follow SteveO's wisdom and seek the Lord first and try the psalms. Here is the one SteveO turned to last night around 11pm after spending a quiet 4th with his wife!

Just so you know the last word in this Scripture passage is "Selah" which translated means "SO BE IT or AMEN!"

In other news a group of about 50 people just returned to Fallbrook from a camp for high schoolers and they are on fire for the Lord. Please pray they carry that mountain top experience around with them and share it down here with all of us!

What do you think about when you are laying in bed? If it is in the morning is your first thought about the agenda for the day or lunches that need to be made or if it is in the evening are your thoughts of things that did not get accompished?

If you had a brain tumor that had been removed 14 years ago and you just found out that the cancer is back what would you think about when you are laying in bed? He is not perfect, he gets frustrated, irritated and a bit down sometimes but SteveO is a man who thinks about God first when he lays in bed.

SteveO will tell you that thinking about God first in all circumstances has a way of ordering things in ways we can't explain. He is there to listen to our complaints, our pains, concerns and desires BUT He is also there to listen to our praises and love for Him. Focusing our thoughts on Him first will always lead us to praise as His Son was crucified for our sins and He defeated death so we can have, know and share total victory.

SteveO was led by the Holy Spirit of God to read Revelation 17:14. Wow, are you His called, chosen and faithful follower? You can know the Lord of Lords and King of Kings, just ask!

The wisdom is the Lord, He is the foundation. Understanding it is not about us but a love-relationship with Him is understanding. The knowledge of what He has done for us and the Holy Spirit living in us are truly rare and beautiful treasures that can never be taken away!

It is not about our own understanding. When we get over ourselves and focus on Him we will experience the Life!

SteveO has had some rough nights lately. He is still experiencing seizures due to his brain tumor and pressure headaches as a result of the recent "gamma-knife" procedure. He is a tough man and when he tells someone his pain level is at 9.5 out of 10 he is really hurting. Please continue to ask the Lord for peace and healing for SteveO.

His quiet time with the Lord led him to Proverbs 14:15

15 A simple man believes anything,
but a prudent man gives thought to his steps.

As we give thought to our steps we need to know that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. God doesn't need us to think up something to do for Him. He wants us to love Him and listen and follow Him.

SteveO is feeling a bit better and has done some more unassisted walking....Yeah!

With everything SteveO has been through he has not failed to call me EVERY SINGLE DAY to give me his thoughts and share his quiet time moments with Jesus for this, supposedly, daily blog. Now I could use every excuse possible for not sharing these with you each day but I won't BUT I will tell you how the Lord has used SteveO's obedience and perseverance to keep me close to the Lord. You see we all can find excuses to put off hangin' out with the Lord or to minimize that time because of our hectic schedule...., what about His schedule? He created us, knit us together in our mother's womb, knows each hair on our head and loves us enough to send His Son to die a tortuous way and defeat death in order to wash us clean of our sins as if they never happened.

That being said, REJOICE, because we have total victory if we have a relationship with Jesus! He is The Way, The Truth and The Life so let's hang out with Him and I am sure we will fall deeper in love with Him! So, to catch up with the days that have slipped, here are 5 days worth of SteveO's DAILY blogs.

Mark 1:10-11 - "As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: 'You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.'"

Jesus models everything for us and here He is getting baptized. Not because He needed the affirmation of who He is but because we need that affirmation of who we are in Him. We are God's sons and daughters and through Jesus the Lord is well pleased with us. The words "torn open" remind us of when the temple curtain is "torn" at the crucifixion of Jesus symbolizing our direct access to the Lord because of the sacrifice of Jesus. The other thing to notice is that the "trinity" is united in one place for all to see and experience - The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three parts, one God for us!

Luke 3:16 - "John answered them all, 'I baptize you with water. But one more powerful than I will come, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.'"

SteveO was led to another baptism Scripture. What blows us away is that Jesus tells us that John the Baptist was the greatest among men yet John makes it clear that he is unworthy to even untie the thongs of the sandals of Jesus. Jesus, if we really know Him, humbles us all because why should He love us the way He does? Why would He be crucified for me and my sins? Why is death defeated for me? Love never fails! We get baptized to publicly show that Jesus washes us clean of our sin, He forgives us when we go under the water then we come up and take that first breath we are a new creation, born-again, given a new heart to love Jesus first and foremost and our neighbor as ourself. It is all possible because of the Holy Spirit of Jesus that resides in us when we accept Jesus as our Savior...., that is total victory!

John 5:24 - "'I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.'"

These words spoken by Jesus is a promise He will not break. There is no condemnation in Christ and our old life is dead and The Life we have is Jesus. He is our hope, He is our foundation, He is with us to the very end of the age. If evil is trying to convince you otherwise, stop, take control over evil by claiming victory in Jesus...try it the evil will flee!

Psalm 16:1-6 - "Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. I said to the Lord, 'You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.' As for the saints who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight. The sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods. I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up their names on my lips. Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance."

SteveO has told us that when he is feeling down he turns to the psalms. The psalms are full of King David's pouring out of his heart to the Lord. Sometimes they start off sounding a bit like complaining but by their end they are full of praise for the Lord who is bigger than all of our touble and He will see us through trouble if we really lean on Him! SteveO knows that his lot is secure in Jesus, he knows that though his physical weakness makes things difficult God loves him and that means he has a delightful inheritance....guaranteed!

Psalm 140:6-8 - "O Lord, I say to you, 'You are my God.' Hear, O Lord, my cry for mercy. O Sovereign Lord, my strong deliverer, who shields my head in the day of battle - do not let their plans succeed, or they will become proud."

This world is full of people who are focused directly on themselves. We all get that way from time to time. We see the news or hear about things that are wrong and injust and it seems that so much of this evil is planned. We can cry out to the Lord as David does in this psalm. Cry out for the evil plans not to succeed, cry out for mercy BUT KNOWING we have total victory because the Lord is our strong deliverer and He does shield our heads in the battle. Sometimes appearances to our human eyes are not at all what God sees, that's why He is God and we are not....we need to have faith and trust in Him!!

I heard his voice just a few minutes ago. It is Sunday morning and my heart is quite heavy as I heard SteveO talk to me I know he is hurting today.

For those of you who have not heard about SteveO there is an extensive background in a blog early in June. A quick review is that SteveO's brain tumor was found to have cancer in it. He has been cancer free for approx. 14 years. The right side of his body has been paralyzed since his brain operation 14 years ago but he gets around just fine. Now here recently he started having lots more seizures, they tested him found the cancer had returned and put him through a procedure called the "gamma-knife." Since that procedure his seizures have been less but he is in pain with head pressure and is quite weak, which really bugs him. In the midst of all of this he turned 45, he has a wife and son that have been through all of this with him and some great friends that love him.

SteveO is a big part of Total Victory Ministries and he was to do the daily blog. Since his recent developments I do the blog per SteveO's phone calls. The intention of this blog is to reveal how Total Victory is possible with Jesus and SteveO just gives his thoughts, prayers, Scripture readings and, basically, shares what he and the Lord spoke about during his quiet time with Him!

To know ths man is in pain, uncomfortable, and frustrated is tough for us around him because we love him so much. Yes, we cannot explain why SteveO has to go through this but I will tell you that lots of people in the medical world have been touched by the Lord through SteveO's actions, words and prayers! The other thing that SteveO reminds us all of is that God loves him more than we can think or imagine, he reminds us that if Jesus could bear the tortuous cross for him then he knows that with Jesus he can get through anything. SteveO is the living example of Total Victory!

Today's quiet time with the Lord led him to Isaiah 9:6 -

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

This promise was given to us by the Lord hundreds of years before it happened through the prophet Isaiah. It is talking about the coming of Jesus the Christ. Read the Bible and you will experience life changing things. God's word is true, He never breaks His promises, Jesus died for our sins and He defeated death and in Him we have total victory!

Yes, it has been a couple of days since my last blog but here it is. SteveO kind of had a rough couple of days experiencing a few seizures but the great news is that he was able to walk without assistance! He actually made it to the mail box and back which is a huge, cool thing....praise You Lord!!!!

This quiet time reflection from SteveO actually happened a couple of days ago but I felt that instead of skipping it and getting caught up, God's timing is perfect so someone out there probably needs this.

It is Jesus speaking to the Pharisees, (the religion police back then, who were more concerned with how they were perceived as they lived out the laws and were afraid of Jesus because He was jeopardizing their gig).

John 8:19-25

"Then they asked him, 'Where is your father?' 'You do not know me or my Father,' Jesus replied. 'If you knew me, you would know my Father also.' He spoke these words while teaching in the temple area near the place where the offerings were put. Yet no one seized him, because his time had not yet come."

"Once more Jesus said to them, 'I am going away, and you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I go, you cannot come.'"

"This made the Jews ask, 'Will he kill himself? Is that why he says, 'Where I go, you cannot come?'"

"But he continued, 'You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins.'"

"'Who are yoiu?' they asked.

"'Just what I have been claiming all along,' Jesus replied."

The Bible is God-breathed. It is the foundation of truth. It is the best place to go to get to know Jesus..., check it out!

His Wounds

The phone message from SteveO was one of great urgency. He wanted to make sure I got this message to pass it along to you all. In hangin' out with the Lord, SteveO felt comforted, humbled and very thankful for the grace and mercy God has given and showed him. It was awesome that God led SteveO to Isaiah 53.

So here is Isaiah 53:5 --

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."

These words were inspired by the Lord and written by the prophet Isaiah well before Jesus did all of these things for me and you!

In today's society, we who follow Jesus and know Him to be The Way are sometimes unsure of how we should share Him with others. We need to know that the Bible is The Word of God, it has never been proved wrong. We need to acknowledge that many, many people drift through life looking for and trying to understand truth. We also need to accept that our time on this earth is short and knowing The Truth means knowing where you are going.

Please, if you know The Truth share Him with others. If you don't know The Truth, send us a comment...,we'll share.

"No matter what decisions we face there is cause for optimism for the future. Many people around the world suffer under oppressive governments. When access to God's word is denied people live in hopelessness. Political oppression, economic instability, and social limitations work together to sap public and private morals. People seldom smile, store fronts lack color and even clothing is drab. Everything can appear grey and bleak when people feel they are without possibilities, but when God's news of Jesus is available to people, both young and old, it will bring a gleam to their eye and put a spring in their step in spite of otherwise unchanged circumstances."

SteveO is still not quite up to physically doing the blog but his drive in getting it done is as strong as ever! I am hugely blessed by doing this blog as the words and attitude of SteveO are inspiring, thought-provoking, and Christ-centered.

SteveO was in his quiet time with the Lord and was prompted to recall a t-shirt he has. I think this t-shirt is the reason we can wear a t-shirt with a smiling face on it.....

"Jesus sweat blood over the paths that lay before Him. He could have escaped His brutal execution at anytime, but He didn't. He stayed there for you!"

Wow, thank you Lord!!

Trust who?

So, SteveO tells me his legs just are not gaining strength the way he thinks they should, his head still has a pressure headache and he is gets tired if he does even a little work. Then he said, "Yeah, I can't figure it out, but I know the Great Physician knows and I trust Him."

It reminded me of Proverbs 3:5

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Boy we all know that life is full of twists and turns. If we want our paths to be straightened then we need to trust in the Lord. Why is it that we can read His word, praise Him, pray to Him and see Him do things in our midst but when it comes to trusting Him with all our heart we have a tough time?

We have total victory in Christ - Trust Him!

SteveO called late last night cause he had to get this blog to me so I could get it out to you all. Though SteveO is going through some very traumatic health issues he is a great example of perseverance, obedience, integrity and love!

SteveO reminded me to remind all of you that God loves you and that is an amazing thing to know! We need to honor Him! We need to be in His word if we want to get to know Him more, we need to meditate on His word and sit in silence at His feet and as we do we will feel joy, we will want to praise Him, we will sense the Holy awe and reverence, we will feel His unconditional love and we will hear Him.

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

Let's all pray on and rejoice because He is God!

Short and Sweet

SteveO has this hanging on the wall in his house. Another great friend was visiting and praying with SteveO. At the end of the visit SteveO said, "I just don't know what to post for my blog today." Then the friend pointed to the wall and SteveO said, "Ah, THAT"S IT!"

I spoke with SteveO for a little while and he had 3 seizures through the night but they were cut short by using a technique the doctors told him about that works in conjunction with the implant that he has to minimize them as well. He told me the 3 seizures were in his mouth and never went any further.

He also reported that since the "gamma-knife" procedure he has kind of an inner cranial pressure that he feels from the left-side of his head to the top and, at this point, he still can't seem to get rid of it. SteveO also told me that he experiences a fogginess in his brain from time to time but thinks it might be mild seizures. He went on to say, "God is my grace and I lean on Him very much and He is my rock."

As we wrapped up our visit SteveO said, "If Jesus could go through all of that pain when He was crucified for me and my sins then, really, I have nothing to complain about." He then sweetly, confidently and excitedly told me what words the Lord has given him lately to comfort, encourage and strengthen his relationship with his Creator AND he said make sure to put this on the blog for everyone.

Show me your ways, O LORD,
teach me your paths;
guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.

You can find these words to all of us in a Bible, Psalm 25. The words in the Bible are God-breathed and they are alive, it is where you will find total victory today.

Hello Everyone -

I just spoke with SteveO's mom and he is recovering well from the "gamma-knife" procedure. He has not had a seizure since the procedure (Friday, June 8) which is a huge blessing but this mornig he is very tired and is sleeping in a bit.

It was great to hear his mother speak about SteveO and how she loves him. Then we encouraged each other in the Lord as we both commented how we know that God loves us more than we love each other and how if it weren't for the foundation of hope we have in Him we don't know what we would do.

It is off to church for me and my family to praise our Savior, give thanks to our Redeemer, and be comforted by our Friend! Life has twists, turns, ups, downs, good and bad but make no mistake His words are true and never been broken so reach out to Him and live a life of total victory!

Yes, I know it is Saturday, June 9 but still cathcing up with all of this. On Friday, June 8, SteveO's "gamma-knife" procedure went well. He went through it fine and was resting last night when I checked.

- Trusting God has been described as a sort of spiritual super glue. It doesn't take very much of it to make a big difference!

Total Victory - What does that mean to you?

Here at totalvictorytoday.com we are blessed to have a strong, devoted group that is focused on using all forms of media to entertain, reveal the Truth and show people the Way to experience the Life of total victory. The team member that is the director of this blog is a guy we call SteveO.

In the future SteveO will be writing this blog himself but currently I am doing it with direct input from SteveO via telephone calls and face to face visits. The focus of this blog is to encourage people in their daily life by reminding them that they have a purpose, that God doesn't make mistakes, that He gives us a way to get to know Him through His word, that no matter what the circumstances look like to us He is the Creator and loves each of us more than anything we can fully comprehend, (grab a Bible and check-out John 3:16).

That all being said, I want to give you some background on SteveO. He is 45 years old, has a wife and son and is, at this very moment, preparing to go through a procedure called the "gamma-knife." The procedure is designed to focus approx. 201 beams of intense, light on one spot for a certain amount of time in order to kill and/or stunt a growing tumor/cancer. After a specialized MRI, SteveO will have a half of a football helmet looking apparatus screwed into his head, (he will be numbed), and then for approx. 30-45 minutes he will need to be as still as possible as the "gamma-knife" does it's thing. Our prayer is that the Lord will use this procedure to kill the growing cancerous tumor that has returned to SteveO's brain.

Back in December of 1991, SteveO was a guy riding a wave of success, according to the world's standards, with a thriving, profitable business, a nice home/ranch, a strong marriage and a young son. It was in the month of December of 1991 that SteveO was diagnosed with a brain tumor and wasn't given a whole lot of hope for any more life or any more life that he was used to.

In May of 1992 at UCLA SteveO survived a brain surgery that removed the core of the tumor but the "fingers" that had grown out of the core were left. The surgery was a success but the recovery was slow, painful and as time revealed the right side of SteveO's very athletic, very strong body was and would remain largely paralyzed and simple tasks like talking and eating had to be relearned.

During the course of recovery SteveO endured physical pain and the emotional pain of learning that his business had been deviously taken from him by trusted associates and the income that sustained his family was now gone so besides his wife and son having to go through his illness they would all have to endure the process of relocating as well.

By October of 1992 SteveO was at the bottom. His once strong body and entrepreneurial mind could not get he or his family out of this fix. Some people from a church had come by to visit from time to time and it was one of those times when SteveO found The Way, met The Truth and began to experience The Life! He asked Jesus to be his Lord and Savior, his Redeemer, his Friend, his All and All! And Jesus who loves us all beyond what we can think or imagine said "YES!"

SteveO will tell you that evil does not like when we know Jesus. Evil will do what it can to convince that Jesus is not real, is not there, did not die for our sins, did not defeat death by rising from the grave, is not seated at the right hand of the Father and is not coming back. Evil deceives and tries to cloud our vision. SteveO will tell you that on a couple of occassions evil fooled him too.

Still in recovery mode at his home SteveO was fooled into feeling defeated and deceived into thinking his family would be better off in all kinds of ways if he was gone. SteveO tried taking his own life a couple of times but in both cases someone discovered what he was doing and was able to stop him, (thak you Lord). Those church representatives sat with, prayed with and read with SteveO and his family. SteveO was able to call on Jesus to defeat evil's deceiving schemes, he learned that Jesus wanted a love-relationship with him, he clung to the promises of Jesus knowing that he would never be alone again and he became so full of joy that he began to speak to others of Jesus and actually began to radiate/shine wth the light of Christ.

15 years have passed. SteveO and his family live in a quaint home surrounded by animals of all sorts. He repairs sprinklers, digs holes and other "honey-do's," but since his right side still, for the most part, fails him, his left arm, hand and teeth work exceedingly well together. We call his left hand "the claw" because of it's tremendous strength and useability. He cannot drive but the man gets around.

So many folks of all ages, individually and in group settings, have heard SteveO's gravelly voice, (because of the surgery and because of a special implant he has that reduces the amount and severity of the seizures he has), tell of how blessed he is to know that Jesus loves him and his family and how he knows that the ups and downs of his life are to be used to point people to his Creator.

Well, it was just a few weeks ago now when the seizures became worse and as SteveO told us "they felt different." After many tests we got the news that the cancer was back. This was about the same time that we had felt led to begin Total Victory Ministries and that SteveO would help with the web site and do the blogging.

SteveO's right side is even weaker now and he has to be assisted to get around. When we were in the hospital and I was holding SteveO's head in my hands and praying in his ear for the Lord to calm his body during an intense seizure God reminded me that He loves SteveO more than we do and he wants us all to shine His light wherever He puts us. The Lord underscored this as SteveO was coming out of the seizure. SteveO looked up and noticed a new nurse and began asking about her life and in just a few seconds we learned that her brother battles seizures as the result of a severe head injury and when SteveO heard this he pointed at us in the room, including himself, and assured the nurse we would begin praying for her brother. SteveO was being the lamp on a stand in the midst of his seizure, (at this point the seizures are quite painful, SteveO told me once that from 1-10 in pain they were pegging the 10), shining the light of Christ to this nurse. Yes, God loves SteveO more than any of us AND He loves us the same.

During his stay in the hospital SteveO shared the Lord's joy with lots of people. I would come in and when nurses, physical therapists, doctors, orderlies, maitenance workers or whomever found out I was a friend they would light up and tell me about how wonderful SteveO is and how they are praying for him and how he would be praying for them.

A couple of days before the "gamma-knife" procedure SteveO wanted to make sure that I would pass along what he had read and felt God impressing on him to share on the blog so here you go --

It's all new

Stepping away from my post as director of adult ministries at Fallbrook Pres. and following where I feel I am supposed to be and developing Total Victory Ministries is exciting, nerve-racking, faith-building and a wee bit tiring. Today, the all-new Total Victory Today blog is up and the beginnings of totalvictorytoday.com will be up in the next several minutes.... I hope.

Total Victory Ministries is to use all forms of media to entertain, reveal the Truth and show people the Way to experience the Life of Total Victory!

One of the initial projects is producing Crossroads TV. It is a television program the whole family could watch. Think of it as a faith-based Tonight Show. Fun, stupid comedy, man on the street segments, music, and personal stories that always reveal the Truth and show people the Way to experience the Life of Total Victory! We have done one show and it aired nationally on the then PAX network. Be looking for it in local areas and check it out on totalvictorytoday.com and/or crossroadstv.net.

Someone from our staff will be checking and posting this blog, hopefully, daily. This should be a place to share the amazing things the Lord has done in and through our lives and yours. A place to discuss Scripture passages. A place to ask questions and get answers based on the Truth. A place to discover and fall deeper in love with Jesus!
